Daniel C. Elton, Ph.D. is a contract Staff Scientist at the National
Institutes of Health Clinical Center, where he works on applications
of AI to medical imaging. He has also worked on applying deep learning to electron microscope images of neural tissue. He received a Ph.D. in physics from Stony Brook University in 2016. His work on Carboncopies primarily focuses on researching connectomics technologies and forecasting the advent of whole brain emulation.
